Available Housing for Transitioning Veterans
While the Veterans Affairs offer benefits for home buying, many newly transitioned Veterans are still trying to forge their path after service and not yet ready to purchase a home. VTROC provides housing opportunities for transitioning Veterans post Military Service. This opportunity is available to those Veterans who wish to continue their education and complete their degree, participate in entrepreneurial studies and begin their own business, or attend on the job training / mentoring programs.
We allow working canine companions in all of our housing.
Available Housing Options
Our Veterans will be welcomed in to an apartment style home. These homes will come fully furnished with bedroom sets and a desk. All apartments are one-bedroom, accessible, and include full kitchens and living areas.
For those Veterans with families we offer single family homes. Two different floor plans are available, each with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Due to limited number these homes, they are only available to those with families.
VTROC will host a community center which will house a large auditorium for guest speakers, two conference rooms to host symposiums, conferences, job fairs, seminars and more. Several smaller conference rooms are available for group study, oral board practice, and Skype interviews. A cafeteria will be available with food produced by Chef Charles Johnson’s organization, Combat Food Medic.
