CEO and Founder of VTROC, Elizabeth Bannon has spent over 15 years in public service. Elizabeth began her career in the United States Army, after receiving an Honorable Discharge became a Paramedic and soon after Police Officer in the State of Colorado. Elizabeth feels there is nothing more gratifying than helping those who cannot help themselves. In 2012 Elizabeth received a Bachelors Degree with a double major in Business Management and Accounting with an emphasis on Non-Profit Organizations. Elizabeth has recognized the tragically small amount of Veterans Organizations available to ALL Veterans and has devoted much of her time to provide the much needed support and assistance to a very a deserving community.
James Bannon, CFO and Co-Founder of VTROC is a seasoned entrepreneur. With a $2,000.00 budget James was able to grow his personal business into a multi-million dollar corporation. James’ expertise includes but is not limited to marketing and advertisement, as well as contracting and investments. James sold his corporation and went on to be a consulting engineer supervisor at several Engineering Companies in the Mid and Western United States. James currently holds a Bachelors degree in Explosive Engineering with an Associates in Criminal Justice. With his leadership skills and ability to think outside the corporate box, Mr. Bannon is a needed asset to VTROC.
Col. Thomas M. Williams, USMC (Ret.), COO and Board Member, is currently Managing Director of the Utah Science, Technology and Research Agency (USTAR). Reporting to the governor’s office, the agency promotes economic development through the advancement and commercialization of technology. He commanded at all levels during his 31 years of Marine Corps service, and traveled extensively in the Pacific, Europe, the former Soviet Union and the Middle East. He served in combat tours in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Afghanistan as well as Bosnia and Kosovo in the Balkans. In his staff assignments he served in NATO headquarters as an operational planner, the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) as a air defense planner and Joint Forces Command deploying units for the conflicts for Iraq and Afghanistan. At the Office of Naval Research he served as the Military Department Head, leading the portfolio of over 500 advance technology programs for the Marine Corps and Navy SEAL’s. He has a B.S. in Aeronautics from San Jose State University and M.A. in Economics from the University of Oklahoma.
VTROC also has a six-person Board of Directors who provide direction for the organization
